When it comes to our senior companion care, we want our clients and their families to know we do our best to keep them safe. All staff who work with seniors are required to have both COVID-19 vaccines as well as both booster shots. We also still ask our clients if they would like us to wear masks in their homes and wash our hands upon entry. We also monitor our own health daily and ask our clients to do the same. We will cancel at the sign of any illness, just to play it safe.

When it comes to our actual senior companion care service offerings however, nothing has changed. If you’re new to discovering us at Everyday Helper, or if it’s been awhile, let me share a little bit about our senior companion care service.

The passion behind starting Everyday Helper 7 years ago was to help seniors stay in their own homes longer, and that is still our mission. We come into homes to assist with every day tasks like cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc. We run errands, and offer to take our senior clients out into the community with us if they’d like. We assist with rides to medical appointments and community events. And we also love just sitting and talking, playing board games, watching tv, and hanging out with our clients as their new companion.

Since our senior clients are so important to them, we have never increased our hourly rate for their services in 7 years! We offer a very competitive hourly rate, and we try to meet our clients where they are at with their day-to-day living expenses budget.
