1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling or receiving services from Everyday Helper, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Everyday Helper provides non-medical companion care, errand running, house cleaning and organizing, house sitting, vacation care, pet sitting, pet care, and dog walking in the Iowa City metro area including Coralville, Iowa City, Tiffin, North Liberty, West Branch, Riverside, Oxford, and Swisher, Iowa.
3. Scheduling & Cancellations
- Service appointments must be scheduled in advance.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Everyday Helper reserves the right to cancel services due to unsafe conditions, inclement weather, or circumstances outside our control.
4. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless a prior billing arrangement has been established.
- Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of booking.
- Late payments may be subject to a late fee.
5. Limitation of Liability
Everyday Helper is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services rendered. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing a safe working environment and accurate information about pets, property access, and any special requirements. Clients must disclose known hazards, aggressive animals, or health conditions relevant to service delivery.
7. Background Checks & Insurance
Everyday Helper staff are background-checked. We carry general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
8. Privacy
Use of our website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes shall be resolved in Johnson County, Iowa.
